Well, I am once again dead tired and without any voice...thanks to SMASH!

Thursday
~JKale and I flew in to Sydney on Thurs night, to stay with *SweetSkitty that night. We had a few issues coordinating meeting at train stations LOL, but got there all together in the end! And proceeded to have...nothing like enough sleep OTL. But there was delicious cake, so that made up for it? 8'D  Thank you so much *SweetSkitty for letting us stay and what's more take your bed! ^_^;;  

Friday
Friday first up was vocaloid shoot for Kaito & Meiko's 'Tsugai Kogarashi' - PV here: [link] - with me as Kaito and *silverharmony as Meiko We were shooting at the Japanese gardens in Campbelltown, and *silverharmony had called twice to confirm that it was fine to shoot there...and then we get there and some extremely rude woman at the desk tells us (doesn't ask, note, *tells*) that we've "been here before" and been kicked out. Now, can I just point out, as we tried to to her...I had never been there before in my life. None of us had. OTL. She was just so rude, serisouly. Anyway~~ we got in eventually! Had a fun shoot with Alan shooting for us and ~JKale helping with maple leaves and red ribbons and shiz <333



After we wrapped at the gardens, we headed into the city for food - went to awesomely cheap place, but service was kinda lacking? They forgot *SweetSkitty's order OTL...Also swung past Town Hall to drop off my Sheryl costume for *K-tetsu to wear on the weekend...only to be taken to some service entrance and told that she was far too busy to be seen, and to give the costume to a helper. LOL. So extreme XD;;

Then we travelled to silverharmony's house for the night before the con! I stitched butteflies onto the armpieces of my costume, and ~JKale added bits to hers, then we rehearsed our skit a few times and went to bed nice and early! Seriously, really early. Like, 9:30 or something LMAO 8"D  We were so tired... >__>;;

Saturday
Con Day! We got dressed (and I froze near to death in my costume OTL...so cold...)~JKale and I did the 'Beloved' on my neck and her hand on the train on the way there 8'D We got some, umm, interesting looks? LMAO I spent most of the time on the train and walking to Town hall trying desperately to hold my coat closed so that people wouldn't see the bondage monstrosity underneath it 'orz... >_> We saw the epic queue of doom and almost died...I was like, omg I'm going to actually catch pneumonia before we get inside =___= Then we realised that the pre-paid queue was waaay shorter, thank heavens

The con was just...awesome! I love SMASH, it's such a great convention, it has a really wonderful atmosphere, and there's always something to do Saw heaps of lovely people - it was great to catch up with everyone I already knew, and to meet people irl I'd only talked to online before (~Astellecia~~ )! We ducked out for a mini shoot outside – I took photos for *cielroses and =alysael in their MF clothes-swap cos (bwahaha so much love you guys XD ), and then we had our Loveless shots done, before going inside for the cos comp marshalling. I snuck out of the line once the comp started to avoid being bored in a corridor and missing the event! XD;; So much awesome in the comp, especially the FFXIII group! OMG nearly died of awesome standing by the side of stage waiting to go on. Seriously intimidating LOL.
I had no idea how the audience and judges were going to react to our skit for Loveless...like, really no idea. It was possible they'd either completely hate it, or completely love it 'orz... but in the end we got Best Skit! *___* Thanks so much to lovely judges *cielroses, ~13-Zer0 and ~aramis01!

Then we hung around in the city for a couple of hours before meeting everyone for dinner! Had seriously delicious (but way too much OMG so full *__*) Korean bbq dinner with whole heaps of awesome people! And ~JKale and I had our Church of Magic Wang wedding?!?!? ROFLMAO. People couldn't decide if I should be the husband, or given the skit we'd just performed, the wife 8"DDD  Fun time, fun times.

Sunday
On Sunday I got up and did my makeup for Gintama shoot! We headed into the city about 2 hours early, and hung around in Kino...so of course I ended up buying stuff LOL...before I got dressed in costume and we headed to meet *breathless-ness, ~Miyukiko and ~pireze for the shoot! Shot in a private Japanese style room, which was awesome fun, although mildly hilarious to try and rush everything into the hour we wanted to pay for

We also shot in a dirty, seedy alleyway, complete with piles of garbage and a dead rat. YAY! Glamourous cosplay FTW man 8"DDD

Shoot was super awesome, even if I fail epically at being manly enough for Gin-san LOL Then we headed to karaoke! Even though I had no voice hahaha...still, it was lots of fun! I apologise for raping people's ears with hoarse singing XDD Then it was off to dinner with heaps of awesome people again! Finally got to meet !blurmage who'd been there all weekend, but I'd managed to miss him OTL. After dinner we headed to *Wakaleo's place for tea and cake! OMNOMNOM! I had been oh so sad that said cakes were not at SMASH this year, so it was awesome to get some! Thank you Kenny!   And thank you to *AmenoKitarou for driving us back to *silverharmony's place afterwards!

Got back just before midnight, had to pack and print boarding passes...and had to get up before 4am 8"DDD  Not cool, not cool.

All in all, excellent weekend was completely epic, I love everyone and I wish cons were every 2 weeks!!
