Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Mini Animania & Shoots BTS

Realised I never wrote up a report here for mini Animania in Brisbane...woops! ^_^; As I said in my last journal, I cosed Xerxes Break from Pandora Hearts~ was a fun day, although there's not exactly a lot to do at the convention haha, so we went out to get tea *3* ...my feet got so sore from the high shoes I was wearing all day 'orzzzz T__T

Kinda lol thing happened in that I got awarded the 'master makeup artist' badge...rofllll?? 8'D Well, I guess it's nice that the judges thought I do makeup nicely? LOL not that I ever do anything all that exciting with makeup haha... *shrug*

Have done a couple more shoots since then as well! First was my Eager Love Revenge vers Hatsune Mikuo~ climbed over a fence into a giant construction site to use it as a location for this...fufufu XD;; it was SO MUDDY though lol...my boots got completely coated in muck and poor ~JKale who was shooting for me got absolutely filthy 8'D gomen.... ><;

Then last Sunday we had an epic shoots day~ in the morning

's Cinderella! So prettttyyyyyy~~ *A* It was hilarious walking around the city with someone cosing a disney princess...instead of the normal WTF faces from members of the public, everyone was like 'KYAAAAAHH CINDERELLA CAN WE HAVE A PHOTOOOOO 8DDD'

After the shoot~ (zomg I look so daggy SORRY ><)

Then we went back to my place and I got quickly changed into my Break cos to do a proper shoot for him...in a cemetery! >DDD FUFUFU AWESOME FUN 8D

For the second half of the shoot we came back to my house and set up a little table in the garden for a tea partyyy~ *3* Cakes were delicious 8D
