Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. Wheeeeee~~ supposed to be researching for an essay right now, so writing dA journal instead 8DDD

Last weekend was Brisbane Supanova!!!

Lots of random outtake photos coming up, so please prepare for some ~~ugly~~ beautiful facial expressions 8D

FRIDAY

Friday morning I had to work...which means getting up at 6...hurrrr... but I managed to get permission to leave early at 12:30 so that I could get ready for the con that afternoon! I decided to cos as Shinra (Durarara!!) because it's an easy, hassle-free costume, which meant I could walk around the con not in pain/being trodden on by people etc

It also meant that I could take some photos for my lovely friends in their Star Driver casual outfits!

SATURDAY

Saturday had to get up scarily early to get ready for a shoot before the con for our vocaloid Setsugetsuka group with ~Astellecia and *Intricatia~ I got to ~JKale's house where we were shooting and set up the 'studio' space while the others were still getting ready lol~

Then we all headed to the con together! Avoided the main traders' hall for most of the day because it was just way too busy o_O;; So apologies if people were hoping to see me and didn't! >< We were very visible watching the madman cos comp though

KIRABOSH!! Star Driver pair of *mangalphantom and ~dreades were EPIC SHIZ, as was ~level4chaos who came first! Her acting was just amazing *__* respect man~

After the con ended everyone trouped back to ~JKale's house for a lot of LOLZshoots 8D

First off, we finally found another use for the Code Geass throne 8DDD

Then I stole *cielroses's costume (SO NICE OMG *__* I wish it fitted, I would steal it permanently XD)

And then I was molested with hair pieces...and a scrunchy... idek...

Epic difficulty trying to get hold of final ep of Star Driver that night, because ~JKale's internet SUCKS omg...so we drove to my house to get it, and then back again 8'D but watched it in the end!! And...well...I'm not going to go into my thoughts on that ep, because I'm still kinda seething rofl...I can't believe how much amazing potential was squandered there omg... >___>;;

MONDAY

Monday (skipping classes to spend time with people LOL /shot), got up and ready for Otome Youkai Zakuro shoot with ~ZuZuMoo, who makes such a ridiculously cute Zakuro my heart almost stopped everytime I looked at her 8DDD /Agemaki blush

Then it was time to get changed, and don my Gil (Pandora Hearts) costume for a trio shoot with ~ClamWings as Alice and ~JKale as Oz *3*

Shoot consisted of them being cute, and me being bullied LMAO XD

Then we met up with everyone else who was still in town, and had icecream! 8D And then went off to karaoke with ~kaguyaxhime, ~JKale, *cielroses, *K-tetsu and ~ClamWings - so much fun!!
