Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

70 000 kiriban! + Cos Blog Guide ^o^

Haro lovelies!

I tend to forget about the pageviews thingie on here, but apparently it's getting close to 70K! o_O; And so I thought that we could play another screencap game~~!

That incidental aside, I've got quite a few questions from people about finding more pictures, and my cos photo blog - so I'm going to post a guide to those not familiar with fc2! ^o^ So I'm sorry if this is really basic to you, but it seems some people do't know about it? So bear with me please <3

For each shoot I do (except the photobook shoots, as I only put up samples of those) I put up a full photo set on my blog - [link]. I link this at the bottom of photos that I put up here, but I upload so many more shoots and numbers of photos on my blog than on dA, just because it's not convenient on dA and people don't like being flooded with lots of photos! Things also go up on there way in advance of them appearing here, due to backlog for dA

Front page of blog! It's in Japanese, but I don't write anything there other than chara names/series titles really, so you don't need to worry too much if you don't speak Japanese!

If you scroll down, on the right hand side is a list of Categories - I list photo sets by series name, so e.g. Gintama (銀魂), UtaPri (うた☆プリ), Kuroshitsuji (黒執事) etc. Again, the series names are in Japanese, but it's pretty easy to work out...or you can use google lol XD

There's also a links section beneath that - 'Time out of Mind' is my regular day-to-day blog ^_^

The full sets of photo are hidden under cuts so they don't eat whole pages - click 'Read More' under each to see the full set! The category for each shoot is also there as a link at the bottom - so you can click on it to see the other shoots from that series.

And finally, the clap tool! Even my photog didn't know about this until just recently LOL... If you look at a shoot, and feel like it, claps would be appreciated!

Just click the 'Clap' button, nothing more required ^_^ Apologies for shameless pimping, but seeing claps is my only real indication of anyone visiting the site LMAO as my counter malfunctioned ages ago and I uninstalled it T___T
